We finish out April with a hike to Lena Lake and another hike along the lower Dungeness River. Lena Lake, (actually two lakes, an upper and lower) is a relatively easy hike with beautiful panoramic views of the lake and its surroundings. See for yourself :-) The lower Dungeness River hike was very pleasant. Pretty easy, flat and wide open amongst the trees. Plenty of great places to enjoy the river as it cascades down to the sea. On the way out of the wilderness we snapped this photo of some of the local inhabitants.
