Visiting the San Juan Islands

First stop was Orcas Island. Here is Mount Constitution, the highest peak in the whole island chain. It's said on a clear day you can see over 100 other islands, both Canadian and U.S. Part of the fun on this trip were the ferry rides that Kiwi got to experience. Good socialization helps and as usual, she was a great traveling companion. Greeting some of the other furmeisters that were travelling. The easy part of Mount Constitution is that you can drive up to the top, exit your car, hold your breath and be at the lookout. Fantastic views that are easily accessible. Here is a tranquil farm setting on Orcas Island. All that's missing from the photo is a couple of ACD's.
